Last stop. The Routing Information Protocol

Leaving the Networks… Soon! A nother two weeks had passed, the feeling of missing two things are definitely the saddest ending of my life. First stuff I would miss the most is all the subjects that encourage me more to study and to study and pushing it more to study HARD! All the subjects I encountered this term is like the campaign of the President today. “Anti-Drugs Campaign” or so-called “War against Drugs”. It’s like General Dela Rosa and I were in a struggle to capture those Drug user. In my part, I feel like my job is to take down all these subjects and finish all it up just to make my President Mr. and Mrs. Claveria being so proud of their little soldier. We are in the same line, General “Bato” were still in the fight trying to capture those pusher and saving all the drug user. I am in my line trying to get my job done in a cleanest way. Not in the way of killing some of the user or the drug pusher, but in a way that will make my final grades become all in number form. ...

Routing Config

What a draining week yet an exciting one for all of us as we go on to our last minute of the school term. A draining week I said, well for most of us especially for all the groups who will present in front of the class is the feeling they are all experiencing and so do I. We are all very tired doing research paper in other subjects, doing the group project and so many more stuff to do. For the three of the groups who presented in a class was a bit feeling of happiness and at the same time, -it feels like HEAVEN my friend! Two groups in our class received their 20 points by presenting it early showing off their sniffing tool and its function. While for our group, we got 15 points by illustrating our tools that was selected by our leader chosen from the list of our professor that had given us. We are assigned to show it on class to let them know the stuff we had researched on. Capsa free snipping tool is a licensed product of Colasoft, a company that offers software products. Capsa free...

Wireshark: Inspecting the Data Traffic

Image
How come you acknowledge the connection between a local host and the server? How about me? I am always there beside you and still lack of appreciation coming from you. How about us? What happen to the connection between us? I think it is already time for the both of us to at least ask for someone’s help. Wireshark, I need you, where are you my friend?  Unlike you, Wireshark is something that can help me to better understand how the SYN- SYN-ACK- “Acknowledgement” works.  These past two weeks, after a successful midterm presentation we already conducted a session by learning to use Wireshark software application. Presenting your PowerPoint Presentation in front of the class is not that hard but showing to them how credible you are presenting all of those information is not that easy. It was not easy presenting to your audience most especially to our professor how you will deliver each information you and the group researched on and how the execution of giving them t...

The Continuation... Of the Internet Protocol Configuration

ALMOST THERE... Just like in a basketball game this class is on its way to the halftime break, DNETCOM is almost in a halfway through the midterm down to the final period. It’s been six weeks of getting to know more about Data Networks and Data Communication.  Understanding the concept of every term used in the subject and simulating every networks that needs to be done in a packet tracer are the two main priority when you are studying the networks. Last two meetings the person in charge of the class gave us a task to get the exercises done by identifying the all the possible servers, devices to be used and even the configuration set-up to be used when simulating the networks. Sir. Justin Pineda also taught us on how to configure the Internet Protocol addresses in the packet tracer. In the same token he added some tutorials on how to configure the servers and how it will send a mail through networks. Having the idea on how to further understand the concept of enteri...

The Network: Designing while Configuring!

“Welcome back!” “It’s nice to…   Wait, what is this? It supposed to be a greetings for the readers. It’s not supposed to be a greetings for me, the message that I share with all my readers in my previous blog. But, I already put it there. Let me greet you for a moment my fellow bloggers and to all my charming and lovable readers. Welcome back to my second blog, Bloggers! I hope all of you who read my blog got something I shared with you guys on my previous blog post! The topic like all the topology or the network design that commonly used for designing your own desired network. Some of the examples I gave about the network architecture and even introduced you to  DNETCOM On its 2-4 meetings passed by, we learned something new and something more technical in terms of discovering more about the networks. There comes the process of creating our own network using the Packet Tracer and configuring each devices that we used in our exercises. The main purpose of this appli...

Getting to know each other: Me and the Networks

“Welcome back!”  “It’s nice to see you again bro!”  “How’s your one week break?”  Some lines you’ve heard on your first day of class in APC. These were the three famous lines greet me when I entered my first subject. And some of my friend asked me something like, “Hey bro what was your GPA on our first term?” and a question like “Did you get an R grade in your previous term?” The funny thing about that is you knew that all of these questions asked to me are also the questions or the topic that we had discussed all throughout the term break. All the group chat that I belong to is full of a conversation that has one idea, it was just all the grades on our first term stay in APC during our second academic year. Atlas! My first subject is already done. Another math-related subject came in through my life, but its fine with me as long as Ms. Wednesday will be our professor. It was 09:15 exactly in the morning when I felt nervous at that time. That beautiful first day ...
