Wireshark: Inspecting the Data Traffic

How come you acknowledge the connection between a local host and the server? How about me? I am always there beside you and still lack of appreciation coming from you. How about us? What happen to the connection between us? I think it is already time for the both of us to at least ask for someone’s help. Wireshark, I need you, where are you my friend?  Unlike you, Wireshark is something that can help me to better understand how the SYN- SYN-ACK- “Acknowledgement” works. 




These past two weeks, after a successful midterm presentation we already conducted a session by learning to use Wireshark software application. Presenting your PowerPoint Presentation in front of the class is not that hard but showing to them how credible you are presenting all of those information is not that easy. It was not easy presenting to your audience most especially to our professor how you will deliver each information you and the group researched on and how the execution of giving them the basic terms that they can understand in the easiest way. All in all the midterm defense of our group is successful. Successful in a way like the Wireshark concept, we give them the SYN or the “Syntax”, the information they should understand. And in return of it they also give the feedback or it’s like the “SYN-ACK” concept, or the Syntax-Acknowledgement wherein they received the information we sent already sent them. In overall presentation of our group, I can say that they “ACKnowledge” all the hard work we put it in our presentation. After a week of receiving all the papers from our midterm week examination, we are about to get a new information regarding on how to sniff a network using a packet analyzer called, “Wireshark.”
Wireshark helps me to handle troubleshooting on a network. It guides me to have an overview of any data traffic visible to my network I am currently visiting. Wireshark is a software application tool that handles port number of every network.

Another three weeks had passed. New topics, new activities and other stuff to do. Having a role model to society is a big factor to say that this country still needs you. And like me as a student, I have roles too. For the three weeks in our Information Security class, I am able to get familiarize with all the models presented in the class by Sir Justin Pineda. Organizing Security models is one topic we all been aware of. Sir Pineda was able to discussed three models. Bell-LaPadula model, Biba  and Clark-Wilson model.
