Internet Censorship, does it a must for all of Us?

Another two weeks have passed, we are almost about to be very busy as the Final term approaching!
For this last two weeks we are all very busy in INFOSEC class as we are preparing for the debate in terms of the Government and Opposition side. Our group assigned on the Government side which we had a topic of Internet Censorship in enforcing in China.

We are on our side that it must also be implemented here in the Philippines.

Internet Censorship focus on one main idea, Internet and Restriction. Having the policies made by the government must be follow. However, we are all concern with regards to Internet Censorship what if having this kind of regulations is that the government were actually at the point of getting one's privacy using the internet. Online Privacy has been one of the biggest challenges in today's interconnected world, as the governments across the world have been found censoring the Internet, stealing information and conducting mass surveillance on innocent people.

China is one such nation which always wanted to have a tight hold on its citizen and has long been known for its strict Internet censorship laws through the Great Firewall of China.

The Great Firewall of China is the nation's Golden Shield project that employs a variety of tricks to censor Internet and block access to various foreign news and social media sites, including Google, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Dropbox, and The Pirate Bay.

If Philippines were abe to stricly implement Internet Censorship in the country, No more Pastor Hokage scattered through Facebook, No more Kita-Kita 1080Pixel movie copy and finally there will no more local celebrity that will be reported dead. FAKE news is not always a good one! Nobody wants fake news! However, we can always see the other side and this one thing revolves around my mind. What if people will try to be violent citizen as he can while the government is holding him tight at his neck? Can we really say that we are successful law maker if Internet Censorship is a must?

Security has own Model too

Another three weeks had passed. New topics, new activities and other stuff to do. Having a role model to society is a big factor to say that this country still needs you. And like me as a student, I have roles too. For the three weeks in our Information Security class, I am able to get familiarize with all the models presented in the class by Sir Justin Pineda. Organizing Security models is one topic we all been aware of. Sir Pineda was able to discussed three models. Bell-LaPadula model, Biba  and Clark-Wilson model.
